I’ve been installing a couple of servers lately with SQL 2005 on them. When doing the Windows Update thing to get all patches on them I noticed that Visual Studio 2005 SP1 is a High Priority fix that wants to be installed. I was however unable to install this 400 Mb update.

To fix this I found a hotfix that allows you to install large Windows Installer packages and patches.

TechEd ITForum 2007 in Barcelona is only a week away. The event is sold out so there will be alot of tech people in Spain that week. I’ll try to keep everyone that is not able to go there up to date with the stuff that I find interesting
